Hostarica at the III International Congress on Communication and Information Technologies

For the second consecutive year, Hostarica has been a distinguished participant of the most important technological congress of the region which took place at the Hotel Ramada Plaza Herradura in San Jose , Costa Rica on March 8th and 9th, 2006.

With more than 350 participants and the presence of 50 experts of the IT world, this third edition of the international congress organized by PROCOMER (The Foreign Trade Corporation of Costa Rica ) and CAMTIC (Costa Rican Chamber of Information and Communication Technologies)  was the best display of the newest trends in technology and communications. Congress attendees had the opportunity to become acquainted with the innovations in software, hardware, networks and telecommunications currently offered by companies from all over the continent.

The General Manager of PROCOMER, Martín Zúñiga, highlighted that Costa Rica is now favored by the results of a sustained investment in education and social development, "thanks to this investment we now have highly trained and educated human resources, with the knowledge required to develop technology and services to export more than 3600 products (...). International and national studies show that the investment in education generates an increment of up to two points in the productivity per-capita and two points in a country's GDP".

Hostarica emerged as the premier Internet hosting facility in the region, offering managed datacenter services with broadband connection and 24 hour bilingual support.
